We take responsibility for the animals in our care and understand the role we must play in the conservation of endangered creatures and habitats around the world. We work to world-class welfare standards through our animal care network, and we support the SEA LIFE Trust in its mission to protect marine life and ocean environments.
We're committed to the highest standards of animal welfare, wherever we have creatures in our care. In addition to owning SEA LIFE, the world’s largest aquarium brand, we also own and operate Chessington World of Adventures Resort in the UK, WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo and WILD LIFE Hamilton Island in Australia.
The SEA LIFE Trust was created to raise awareness of marine conservation and actively help to protect the world’s oceans and the marine life that lives within them. The Trust operates marine wildlife sanctuaries, runs inspiring conservation campaigns and funds projects and education programmes that champions plastic-free oceans, sustainable fishing, effective Marine Protected Areas and an end to over-exploitation of marine life.

The Chessington Conservation Fund (CFF) supports invaluable conservation work and inspires education within the Zoo. It backs charities and organisations, locally and globally to protect of endangered species and their natural habitats.
In 2018, Chessington welcomed four endangered Amur tigers from Kolmarden Wildlife Park in Sweden. CCF committed over £20k to support tiger conservation, specifically to WildCats Conservation Alliance and a project to develop effective human-tiger conflict resolution in Northeast China, where the Amur tiger is commonly found.
Chessington Zoo at Chessington World of Adventures Resort is involved with many national and international breading programmes for rare and endangered species. We work closely with the British & Irish Association of Zoos & Aquariums and the European Association of Zoos & Aquariums.
The WILD LIFE Conservation Fund is a not for profit organisation based in New South Wales. It's dedicated to supporting some of Australia’s leading research and conservation organisations, which protect Australian native habitats and the unique wildlife that lives within them.
