Merlin Entertainments is excited to confirm its indoor attractions across England will reopen on Monday May 17, after the Government confirmed the next stage of its roadmap out of lockdown.

Attractions include Madame Tussauds in London and Blackpool, SEA LIFE in London, Birmingham, Manchester, Weymouth, Hunstanton, Great Yarmouth, Brighton, Blackpool and Scarborough, The London, York and Blackpool Dungeons, The lastminute.com London Eye, LEGOLAND Discovery Centres in Manchester and Birmingham and Shrek’s Adventure! London.

A range of comprehensive safety precautions are in place at all Merlin attractions, including pre-booking, temperature checks, social distancing and group sizes and the wearing of masks by guests and team members.

Merlin is also backing the Government’s review of social distancing measures and as part of this is calling for the 1m+ rule to be scrapped post-June 21 under stage 4 of the proposed roadmap out of lockdown and as the vaccination roll-out ramps up.

“We can’t wait to finally reopen on Monday May 17 and get back to doing what we do best – creating magical experiences for our guests. All our attractions are COVID-secure and we have a raft of safety precautions in place including pre-booking, temperature checks and capacity reductions.”
