the fourth LEGOLAND® Park, LEGOLAND® Deutschland, opened in the Bavarian town of Günzburg in 2002. The Park features more than 50 attractions and thousands of models assembled from more than 55 million LEGO® bricks, offering a unique experience for families with kids aged two to twelve, along with various accommodation options. The Resort is a paradise for young treasure hunters, pirates, explorers, knights and brave roller-coaster riders. The Park also has live shows and a fantastic 4D cinema, which will literally give you the goose bumps.
One day alone is not enough to fully explore all eight adventure worlds at LEGOLAND Deutschland. That is why the family amusement park has expanded its amenities and developed into a short trip destination. In 2008, the Holiday Village was built next to the Park, which has been steadily expanded and now has 72 cottages, a campground and a splendid castle complex with 102 LEGO themed rooms. Along with these accommodation options, LEGOLAND Holiday Village also has a lake with a sandy beach, a bowling-center, a high-ropes course and a minigolf course, and many other entertaining things to do.
The LEGOLAND Deutschland Resort will kick off the 2015 season on 28 March with great new adventures. Visitors of Germany’s one-of-a-kind LEGO world in the Bavarian town of Günzburg can chase robbers at the crazy new LEGO City Police Station and get a close-up look at bamboo sharks in the underwater world ATLANTIS by SEA LIFE. Other new attractions will be opening up this summer and the exciting calendar of events features lots of great highlights. Guests at LEGOLAND Holiday Village can also try a fun new form of accommodation: Camping Barrels.
