LEGOLAND Deutschland

The fourth LEGOLAND® Park, LEGOLAND Deutschland, opened in the Bavarian town of Günzburg in 2002. Back then, guests could enjoy 40 attractions, shows and workshops in seven theme areas, along with models built from more than 50 million LEGO® bricks. More than ten years later, the LEGOLAND Deutschland Resort has grown to eight adventure worlds with over 50 attractions and LEGO models built from more than 55 million bricks, and is now larger than the size of 27 football fields.

The Park offers guests so much fun and entertainment that a one-day visit is simply not enough. Thanks to the Holiday Village, the LEGOLAND Deutschland Resort has also become a popular destination for families. The roughly 11-hectare Holiday Village offers LEGOLAND guests 72 holiday houses with 144 family rooms, a large campground and there is also the splendid Knight’s Castle with 34 LEGO themed rooms. The family-friendly amenities also include two restaurants, a lake with a sandy beach, a LEGO pirate-themed Bowling-Centre, a High-Ropes Course, a Minigolf course and adventure playgrounds.

LEGOLAND is one of the most frequented parks in Germany and has been ranked as the most child-orientated amusement park on numerous occasions (most recently: Parkscout Award 2012/13).
